[EN-ES] European rail market growing, but improvements needed: streamline vehicle authorisation procedures, increase investment in infrastructure and boost research and innovation in rail. High-speed services now represent 25 per cent of all rail traffic in the EU.

Could pedestrians be more economically important than cars? If the pedestrian environment proves to be more profitable than automotive traffic, this could mean the end of urban sprawl.
